About MH CET: Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (MHCET) is an opportunity for students to take admissions into b-schools in Maharashtra for management courses offered in government, university managed, university departments and unaided institutes in the state. The Directorate of Technical Education conducts Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (MHCET) for admission to management programs; MHCET is accepted by over 80 institutes in Maharashtra. The institutes which qualify for the admission process as per the rules are Approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi.

Exam Pattern: Maharashtra Common Entrance Test (MH-CET) is a single level management entrance exam consisting of 200 questions in total and the duration of the paper is of 3.00 hours (180 minutes). There is an added advantage for those who are taking the MH-CET exam as there is no negative mark in the paper. Apart from this there is no sectional division unlike other management exams. The question paper comprises questions from Quantitative Ability, Verbal Ability, Data Interpretation/Sufficiency and Reasoning.

- Paper I : Physics & Chemistry (50 marks each)

- Paper II : Biology (Botany & Zoology - 50 marks each)

- Paper III : Mathematics (100 Marks)


How to get the application Form: Interested candidates can apply for the MHCET exam by the online or offline methods.

Online Application: Applicants can fill up the online application through the official web site: www.dte.org.in/mba. For that the applicants are required to upload his/her photo and signature as per the instructions given in the site. Each candidate will be allocated with an application ID and Password and they are requested to preserve the application kit. The cost of the application form is Rs.1, 150/- for general category and Rs.950/- for reserved category.

Offline Application: Applications sent by Post/Courier etc. will not be accepted and there will be no communication in this regard as it has done by the candidates. Documents are not required at the time of submitting the application form and are advised to keep the necessary documents ready at the time of Document verification.
