Andhra Pradesh Open School Society (APOSS) has started SSC course in 2008-09 and Intermediate course from 2010-11. This society was formed on 20th February 1991. The main objective of this society is to provide Pre-Elementary education to everyone through Open and Distance Learning Mode (ODL). There are also Academic courses along with vocational courses now.
The course will be implemented through the Government or Recognized high school which is commonly known as Accredited Institution in the state. Andhra Pradesh open school society also provides the syllabus and study materials of NIOS.
